Radiologic Technology

Launch a career in medical imaging

The demand for radiologic technologists has continued to grow. In the fast-paced, in-demand world of medical imaging, technologists perform diagnostic imaging examinations and administer radiation therapy treatments.

Radiologic technologists enjoy helping others and paying close attention to detail in a variety of healthcare settings and specialized imaging centers. They are patient-focused, effective communicators, and play a vital role in the healthcare industry. They are also skilled technicians, who have a strong understanding of anatomy, patient positioning, examination techniques, equipment protocols, radiation safety and protection, and basic patient care.

At Dunwoody, students gain immediate real-world experience, working in both classroom and lab settings. Thanks to our close partnerships with more than 10 hospitals and clinics in the Twin Cities, students also participate in a variety of clinical experiences.

Instructors in the Radiologic Technology come directly from industry. They have years of experience, are certified in their field, and are passionate about their career.
