About the Program

The Residential Carpet Assistant Installer program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to install carpeting in a residential home.

Students will learn industry terminology, customer service techniques, and the various preparation methods and procedures for installing flooring. Safety and ergonomics are practiced and exercised throughout all courses.

The goal of the program is to help students find jobs in the industry, with a special emphasis on how to establish one’s own carpet installation business.

*Please note: The following documents are pre-requisites for this program:

  1. A High School Diploma or GED
  2. The NCRC (National Career Readiness Certification) Completion Certification Level 3
