Overview
The Career Services records calls from prospective employers and notifies both current students and alumni of job opportunities via e-mail. Job postings are available in the Anthony L. Ferrara Career Services Center and are often provided in each department on bulletin boards. In addition, Department Directors and Career Service Liaisons work with area businesses to identify employment opportunities. Occasionally companies send representatives to the Dunwoody campus to interview graduating students.

Visit the Anthony L. Ferrara Career Services Center
Located on the Green Level, the Anthony L. Ferrara Career Services Center provides current students and alumni a centralized area with one-on-one employment assistance. Come in and browse new and archived job leads, use electronic resources, develop or revise a résumé, discuss job search strategies, and much more.

Lifetime Employment Assistance
Dunwoody provides lifetime employment assistance at no charge to graduates or employers. If, at any time, graduates become unemployed or have difficulty locating a position, they may contact the Career Service Office in person, by e-mail, or by calling 612-381-8227.

Dunwoody has an excellent record of placing graduates, but the school cannot guarantee employment for any student or graduate.

About Anthony L. Ferrara
The Career Services Center is named for Anthony L. Ferrara, the founder of Standard Heating and Air Conditioning. The name was chosen by alumni Ted and Todd Ferrara in memory of their father, a longtime supporter of and advocate for the College. At a Dec. 2007 naming ceremony, both Ted and Todd spoke about their father's high regard for Dunwoody and the impact the College has had on their own lives.

The Ferrara brothers have given a generous combined gift to Dunwoody's "Good to Great" campaign, making possible major campus improvements, including renovations to the Career Services Center. They also continue to build upon the legacy of their father. Ted serves as chairman of the board and Todd as vice president of Standard Heating. Ted also serves on Dunwoody's Board of Trustees and is a past president of the Dunwoody Alumni Association's Board of Managers.
