Success in college begins with finding the right fit. At Dunwoody, you’re surrounded with a community of people just like you. Focused. Motivated. Determined. In fact, more than 60 percent of all Dunwoody students have had previous college experience.

If you are thinking about transferring to Dunwoody, returning to college, or exploring a second career – we are ready to help!

There are a few procedures and steps we’ll need to follow, and a few things we’ll need from you, to ensure we make an informed admissions decision.

1. A completed application for enrollment
2. Your high school transcripts or GED certificate
3. Official college transcripts
4. A personal interview with one of our admissions counselors is recommended to ensure that Dunwoody is the right fit for your educational and career goals
5. Optional ACT or SAT standardized test scores (required for some programs)

Options to Complete, Add-On, or Enhance a Degree

Bachelor’s Completion Degrees

Almost any associate of applied science/associate of science will transfer into one of Dunwoody’s bachelor’s completion degrees. In addition, our Engineering and Interior Design degrees accept transfer students. Professional Certificate/Additional Degree

Already have a bachelor’s degree? If you are looking to enter a specific industry, you may benefit from a professional certificate or an associate’s degree that will provide you with specialized skills that will enhance or focus your existing degree. Common options include:

Transfer Credits/Military Credits/Prior Learning

In addition to the above options, transfer credits from other regionally-accredited institutions as well as military service credits and prior learning may be available for certificate, associate and bachelor degree programs. Test-Out Opportunities

Transfer students have the opportunity to test out of one or all of the math classes in their academic area. To do so, you must complete the test prior to the fifth business day of a term. For more information visit the Transfer Credit page of the College Catalog & Student Handbook.
