Ready to move into management or start your own business? Applied Management & Leadership provides graduates of two-year technical programs with a practical project-based business education.
The degree complements students’ technical knowledge with courses such as:
- Strategic planning
- Project management
- Quality systems
In addition to enhancing soft skills like communications, business writing, and human relations.
Dunwoody’s Applied Management & Leadership program features:
- Evening classes, allowing students to balance their work schedule with the academic semester.
- A concentration available in Management Information Systems (MIS).
- A capstone project specific to the industry you’re trained in.
- All students lease a laptop with software tools for project management, including Microsoft Office Professional, Microsoft Project Professional, and Microsoft Visio Professional.
- Access to a monthly leadership lecture series.
Management Information Systems (MIS) Concentration:
The Applied Management bachelor’s completion degree also has the option of a Management Information Systems (MIS) concentration. By switching in courses such as Management of Distributed Systems, System Analysis, Database Technologies and Management Information Systems, we make you an even more valuable – and marketable — data management professional than you are now.
Graduates earn a bachelor’s degree. The program takes two years (four semesters) to complete. Classes in this program are offered during the evening. This degree is currently offered to Minnesota residents only.
