Bachelor of Science in Applied Management -- Fully Online Program

Dunwoody College offers a fully online Bachelor of Science in Applied Management degree.. All classes and support services -- from class discussions and assignments to payment and academic support --are offered in an online format.

The program is geared towards those who, because of schedule or distance, would prefer to take all of their classes online. Financial aid is available. The course of study is the same as our on-ground Applied Management program.

If you are interested in applying, call (612) 374-5800 to speak to an admissions counselor or fill out our info request form.

Who is eligible?

The program is designed for graduates of Dunwoody College of Technology and other technical colleges/programs who have earned an A.A.S. degree and wish to advance their careers by completing a bachelor's degree.

Currently, this program is only offered to residents of Minnesota. If you have an A.A.S degree and live in another state and are interested in this program, please let us know by emailing program director Mike White at mwhite@dunwoody.edu as we are currently working to get get approvals to offer the program in other states.

What is the schedule and how does it work?

Courses take place as 9 week sessions, with two sessions equaling one semester's worth of work/credits. Students who take a full courseload will be able to complete the degree in two years.

Since classes are online, they do not meet in person. Instead, you will have specific tasks and assignments due at specific times. Some courses may use a online chat feature that would require all students to log on at the same time, but the vast majority of your work will be posting assignments and comments that can be done at anytime before the due date. All that's required is an Internet browser (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox) and an Internet connection and some minimum software requirement (Microsoft Word and Excel).

Any needed books or materials for a course that are not available in an online format will be mailed to you. As with on-campus courses, textbooks are not included in your tuition.

The only time students would need to drive to the Dunwoody campus is if they want to participate in Dunwoody's graduation ceremony (which they are welcome to do).
