The Honda PACT program prepares graduates to be technicians servicing Honda/Acura vehicles at authorized dealerships. Students train specifically on current model Honda/Acura vehicles, information systems, scan tools and training materials. Students also complete an internship under the guidance of a master technician at a sponsoring American Honda/Acura dealership. These paid internships give students the opportunity to integrate their learning and further develop their skills in service technology. Arts & Sciences curriculum supports the technical skills students learn as well as enhances students’ oral and written communication skills and critical thinking ability.
All Honda PACT instructors are certified as Master Technicians by the ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence). The National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation, the branch of ASE which certifies and accredits automotive education programs has certified Dunwoody in all areas of service and repair. Dunwoody’s Honda PACT program has received several awards from American Honda for being one of the best Honda PACT automotive schools in the nation.
Degree Information: Graduates earn an associate of Applied Science degree; the program takes two years (four regular semesters + one summer session) to complete.
