Mopar College Automotive Program Facts
Dunwoody College of Technology is one of only 25 Colleges throughout the country that offer Mopar CAP

Over the past 5 years, Chrysler has donated over 1 million dollars in tools, equipment and grant monies to Dunwoody to make certain CAP students receive the latest in technological training. This ensures a seamless transition from Dunwoody to the dealershipfor the student.

Mopar CAP is a 2 year program that leads to an associates degree in applied science.

All of the class room training will be at the Dunwoody main campus.

Eligible students may start in the Fall, Winter or Spring Quarters.

The first two quarters the students will be trained in fundamental electrical and mechanical automotive systems through Dunwoody’s Automotive Service Technology program.

During the third through sixth quarter the student will be in Mopar CAP specific classes. They will also spend a portion of their time fulfilling Arts and Sciences course requirements along with an internship at a sponsoring Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep dealer.

During the seventh and eighth quarters the student will complete all remaining Arts and Sciences classes along with any remaining internship requirements.

Mopar CAP is an internship based program.

Internships are paid. During the Internship the student will earn an income while learning.

The Mopar CAP coordinator will help locate a sponsoring dealer. Qualified candidates who apply early are chosen first.

Class size is limited to maintain a good instructor-to-student ratio.

The Mopar CAP instructor is a Chrysler-trained, experienced professional, with over 20 years of dealership experience.

Mopar CAP Students are more employable at a Chrysler dealer than a student who has not completed the program.
