Why a Dunwoody education? Then and now…
A statement from Morrie Wagener, 1957 Dunwoody Graduate – Founder, Morrie’s Automotive Group
“All of my life, I have recognized and valued education as a way toward a better life. In the 1950s, I made the decision to turn my love for cars into a lifelong career – that commitment started with attending the automotive program at Dunwoody College of Technology.
“I believe that education makes the person. I also believe that I could not have accomplished what I have in life without the exceptional education I received from Dunwoody. A Dunwoody education still serves as the building block for an exceptional future. Having served on the College’s Board of Trustees for many years, I can attest: that's not talk, that's truth. With the strong foundation of my degree in Automotive Technology, I was able to build one of the premier automotive dealership groups in the nation.

As a Dunwoody graduate, your future employers will know that you have a great education, and a solid foundation for success. At Morrie’s we hire Dunwoody graduates because we know that they have the right training and education to be successful on the job. As Dunwoody’s recent marketing materials say, they’ll help you unpack your talent and put it to work.
I strongly believe that to be successful, you need to figure out what you love and find a place that can help you unlock your potential from there it’s just a matter of hard work and persistence.”
Morrie proves that you can do anything with the right education. His proudest achievement is continuing and adding to the Dunwoody College legacy, including ensuring that it remains a viable opportunity for low income students.
