@dunwoodysurvey students Kyle McFadden, Avery Gordee, Carlie Furlong, Gavin Sell, and Ben Brinkman practice with a Dumpy level, dating back to before 1961, in preparation to compete in the 23rd annual National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) Student Competition in Arlington, Va, later this month. The field exercises consist of measurement exercises using historical concepts and equipment in leveling, traverse, and triangulation. They will also take part in a six-hour scavenger-type monument hunt, using a list of older Washington, D.C. area monuments, significant to the history of surveying. #bornToDo

Dunwoody Names Next President
Dunwoody College of Technology, a leader in hands-on technical education, has named Scott Stallman, Ph.D., to succeed Rich Wagner, Ph.D., as the next President of Dunwoody. Stallman, who is currently the College’s Provost, will begin his role as President in July 2024.
